NPGAid
NPGAid provides emergency assistance* to full-time NPGA member company employees who are in need of financial assistance following an unforeseen disaster or personal hardship. NPGAid covers all of NPGA’s member companies, domestic and international. Covered events include four categories:
- Natural disasters such as flood, wildfire, tornado, earthquake, tsunami, volcanic eruption, blizzard, drought, cyclone, hurricane, typhoon or severe storms.
- Unforeseen events that impact the primary residence and results in significant expenses or repairs, such as a house fire, burglary, or roof damage due to a falling tree.
- Serious illness or injury
- Non-routine/exceptional medical expense
Grant applications are confidential and are not reviewed by NPGA/NPGF staff. Grant decisions are determined by the Emergency Assistance Foundation (EAF), the fund’s third-party administrator carefully selected by NPGF. EAF is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, public, non-profit organization with Tax ID 45-1813056.

*NPGAid is funded by the propane industry for the propane industry. Donations to NPGAid are tax-deductible and NGPA is matching donations up to $100,000 and covering all administrative expenses so that 100% of donations go to those in need.
