Launching the NEW State Engagement Program!
The National Propane Gas Association (NPGA) Young Professionals Council (YPC) is proud to announce the launch of its State Engagement Program—the first of its kind!
This initiative allows state and regional propane associations to select a young professional from their membership to act as a 1–3 year liaison with NPGA and the YPC.
Major Program Highlights
- Increase Younger Member Participation: Bolster your association’s engagement with the next generation of leaders.
- Stay Nationally Connected: Gain a dedicated link for national opportunities and information from NPGA and the YPC.
- Expand the Propane Network: Facilitate crucial cross-state and cross-generational networking.
- Develop Future Leaders: Equip and encourage the industry’s future leaders.
- Recruitment Support: YPC will assist in the recruitment process and hand off qualified candidates to your Board.

NOTE: Due to a problem on NPGA’s website, not all State Engagement Program applications were received by those who made submissions. While some did come through, we have decided to extend the deadline to February 14th to allow for all applications to be received. I have contacted those whose applications did come through, so they do not need to resubmit. From now until the new deadline, I am asking applicants to complete the attached fillable pdf and email it to me directly ([email protected]) so we do not miss anyone who is interested in the Program. Please share this form with any potential applicants within your Association. The Young Professionals Council will be updating the website with this new information and form. We apologize for the delay.
1,000 Lunches Across 3 States - YPC's Day of Service
NPGA’s Young Professionals Council (YPC) partnered with Operation BBQ Relief to prepare and serve 1,000 meals to first responders in Tampa, St. Paul and Kansas City for YPC’s Day of Service. Operation BBQ Relief has served over 11 million meals following natural disasters. 99% of those meals have been prepared using propane. YPC members look forward to topping 1,000 lunches in 2027.
