Are You a Propane Industry Leader? Become a Facilitator for the NPGA Benchmarking Council!

The National Propane Gas Association (NPGA) Benchmarking Council is actively seeking experienced industry professionals to serve as Facilitators. The Benchmarking Council offers a platform for propane marketers to gain a competitive edge by learning, creating, and competing more effectively alongside peers who share similar challenges.

Facilitators play a critical role in this mission by managing group dynamics and organizing highly productive meetings. Core responsibilities include ensuring compliance with the Council’s Code of Ethics, defining issues for discussion, and promoting key group activities, such as KPI studies. Facilitators are expected to plan and lead three meetings annually, guiding members through discussions that tap into each participant’s unique experience and knowledge.

Ideal candidates will possess deep knowledge of the propane industry, a solid understanding of general business concepts such as financial analysis and marketing, and the ability to maintain a highly confidential, trusting environment. Excellent meeting management skills are essential for creating focus, prioritizing agendas, and ensuring efficient use of members’ time. Facilitators cannot currently be employed by a marketer, but may have been marketers at one time.
