NPGA wants to alert the industry to an area of labor supply that its partners at the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) are focused on getting back into the workforce: individuals who have gone through the justice system. NAM has several resources available if your company has an interest in utilizing its second chance program as an intentional business strategy to reach all areas of the potential labor pool. Second chance is a collaboration between the Manufacturing Institute—the workforce development and education partner of the NAM—and the Charles Koch Institute.
