NPGF Golf Tournament

2024 Golf Tournament to Benefit the NPGF Scholarship Fund

The NPGF Golf Tournament held on Thursday, April 4 was a great success! The beautiful Springfield Golf Club in Fort Mill, South Carolina hosted 128 golfers split into 32 competitive foursomes.  With 58 very generous sponsors and a well-received raffle, the tournament raised $80,000 for the NPGF Scholarship Fund!  Tournament Committee Chair James Devens of Superior Plus Propane announced the winners during the Expo Opening Session on Friday, April 5. The total purse of $4,600 was awarded to these winning teams and individuals:

1st Place, with a score of 63, and sharing a $2,000 prize:

  • Dale Delay of Cost Management Solutions
  • Adam Kendrick of Foster Fuels, Inc.
  • Robert Kenney of Metsa Tanks, Inc.
  • Calvin Carfantan of TerraVest Industries

2nd Place, with a score of 64 and sharing a $1,200 prize:

  • Ken Horton of Quality Steel Corporation
  • Ryan Eidsness of TerraVest Industries
  • Josh Presson of The Granite Group
  • Erin Walls of Superior Plus Propane

3rd Place, with a score of 65 and sharing an $800 prize:

  • Tim Carlson of Centennial Energy
  • Matthew Perry of Sharp Energy, Inc.
  • Kim Godlewski of IPS Equipment Inc.
  • Gary Webb of Creative Energy, Inc.

In addition, the following players each received a $100 prize for their golfing prowess:

  • Amber Backen of Creative Energy, Inc. won the Women’s Longest Drive – Hole #3 and Women’s Longest Drive – Hole #18
  • Nick Sabrin of Commercial Metal Forming won the Men’s Longest Drive – Hole #3
  • Ben Baumgartner of Rural Computer Consultants won the Men’s Longest Drive – Hole #18
  • John Hearn of TRIARC Tank won Closest to the Pin – Hole #8 Tank
  • Jordan Taylor of Equipment Controls Company won Closest to the Pin – Hole #16

Ed Varney of Topline Management and Dustin Delay of Cost Management Solutions each won a putter in the raffle.
