Bottom Line: NPGA engages with NCSL and state lawmakers to further the interests of the propane industry.
Last week, NPGA exhibited at the National Conference of State Legislatures’ (NSCL) Legislative Summit in Denver, Colorado. The Summit was attended by state representatives, state senators and legislative staff from all 50 states. NPGA discussed how propane marketers play a crucial role in helping residential, commercial and agricultural customers meet their unique heating and energy needs. We also highlighted propane’s economic, environmental and energy resiliency benefits. In addition, legislators were educated on federal funding opportunities for propane applications under the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act.
The National Conference of State Legislatures represents the legislatures in the states, territories and commonwealths of the United States. For more information, contact NPGA’s Jacob Peterson.
