On November 30, 2021, the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), Regulation F, 12 CFR Part 1006, under the Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection, went into effect. FDCPA prescribes Federal rules governing the activities of debt collectors. One significant change with the FDCPPA is that communications in connection with debt collection are defined.
