In addition to the National Propane Gas Association and Propane Education & Research Council, the propane industry also has 36 state and regional associations. These state/regional associations identify opportunities and challenges for the industry on the state and local level, with most having legislative advocates working on their behalf at the capitol. In addition, many of these associations have developed their own assessment programs, similar to PERC’s national assessment, to support the state’s safety and consumer education needs. If you’re not involved with your state association, reach out today and learn more about their activities!
