U.S. Department of Agriculture Crop Progress Report

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) July 3 report continues to display corn silking progression.  The report shows thirteen of eighteen selected states exhibiting silking, with a total silking of 8% across the selected states.  This percentage is greater than the same time last year and 1% lower than the four-year average. Favorable corn conditions increased this week because of increased rainfall in most regions. NPGA continues to track progress and other environmental factors that may impact the demand for propane during harvest season. The entire USDA crop report is available here.
