The Technology, Standards and Safety Committee (TS&S) is completing preparations for its meeting March 5-7 in Kansas City. There are 23 open dockets addressing several different topics that will be discussed with the potential of proposing changes to NFPA 58 and other codes and standards that are adopted and enforced by states and local jurisdictions. Topics include the marking of tare weights on cylinders, anchorage for containers installed in areas prone to flooding, installations near pits and stairwells and the grouping requirements for large storage containers.
