The 2021 state electricity profiles are now available. As efforts to electrify combustion applications intensify, it’s crucial that our industry better understands how electricity is generated in different parts of the country. Members can now access 2021 state electricity profiles, which contain an overview of following information for each state:
- A breakdown of the electric power generation mix
- The carbon dioxide emissions from the electric power sector
- The carbon dioxide intensity of the electric power sector
A more comprehensive understanding of electricity’s carbon footprint is needed as we continue to confront harmful electrification proposals across the states. These electricity profiles are available under the Fight Electrification section on the Member Dashboard. For more information, please contact NPGA’s Austin Wicker.
