Bottom Line: NPGA’s Administrative Compliance Experts Service launches to help potential CDL drivers navigate new federal requirements. Please contact [email protected] for more information.
New federal requirements has taken effect for potential commercial drivers — and NPGA is here to help!
The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) is requiring that all new applicants for commercial driver’s licenses (CDL) and hazmat endorsements (HME) complete Entry Level Driver Training (EDLT) regulations. New CDL- and HME-applicants must successfully complete ELDT theory courses and behind-the-wheel instructions before they can take a state’s CDL or HME exams.
NPGA’s Administrative Compliance Experts Services, also known as ACE, can help your driver navigate the theory courses and complete the behind-the-wheel training components required by ELDT. ACE is designed to assist companies in navigating ELDT’s red tape.
As a FMCSA Registered Training Provider, NPGA is authorized to submit all the required materials to FMSCA on your behalf. Using NPGA’s ACE Services shields you from FMCSA audit and guides your new drivers through the education and training requirements. ACE is available to the entire on-road CMV community, not just the propane industry.
ACE is a fee-based administrative service provided by NPGA and separate from the ELDT training program. A company is not required to use ACE services; you may elect to access only the training materials. For more details, review the ELDT FAQ and Fee Structure documents.
