The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) May 22 report shows 81% of corn is planted compared to 69% planted at this same time last year. With warmer temperatures and ideal soil conditions, all tracked states have corn emerging, which is at 52% compared to the four-year average of 45%. NPGA continues to track progress and other environmental factors that may impact the demand for propane during harvest season. The entire USDA crop report is available here.
