The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) May 15 report shows 65% of corn is planted compared to 45% planted at this same time last year. With warmer temperatures and ideal soil conditions, a few states have corn emerging, which is at 30% compared to the four-year average of 25%. NPGA continues to track progress and other environmental factors that may impact the demand for propane during harvest season. The entire USDA crop report is available here.
