The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) report shows corn planting ahead of this time last year and the four-year average. The April 17 report shows 8% of corn is planted compared to the four-year average of 5%. The USDA crop progress report will be included in the NPGA Bobtail until November to track progress and other environmental factors that may impact the demand for propane during harvest season. The entire USDA crop report is available here.
