Corn crop harvest is beginning to wrap up with the expectation of complete harvest by the end of November. Overall, crop conditions and weather remain consistent with earlier predictions. The latest report by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Crop Progress Report shows present conditions are similar to those in November 2020, see the chart below. NPGA and PERC encourage propane marketers to continue communicating with agricultural customers throughout the harvesting season, particularly as we approach winter heating demands for people and livestock.

The U.S. National Grain Drying Profile, created by the Propane Education & Research Council (PERC), also indicates dry crop this year in most areas.
