As 2024 draws to a close, NPGA is urging Congress to act swiftly by passing a two-year extension of the Alternative Fuel Tax Credit (AFTC) during the upcoming lame-duck session. Set to expire on December 31, 2024, the AFTC plays a vital role in encouraging businesses and individuals to transition to alternative fuel vehicles, such as autogas.
In collaboration with a dedicated coalition, NPGA has drafted a letter of support for the AFTC, and we invite you and your business to add your name. Your signature will demonstrate to Congress just how essential this credit is for your operations, your customers, and the broader propane industry.
