September is Peak Month for Hurricanes

Hurricane season runs from June 1 to November 30, but it peaks in September. This year, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) predicts an above-normal hurricane season. NOAA urges everyone to better understand their hurricane risks and start preparing now. As hurricane season continues, it’s essential to prepare your customers, employees, and infrastructure for severe weather threats such as storms, flooding, damaging winds, and tornadoes.

PERC’s Propane and Weather Safety webpage offers helpful information you can provide to your customers to help them understand propane safety during natural disasters like hurricanes, floods, tornadoes, and wildfires. You can share preparedness and safety tips via your company website and customer communications, such as e-mails, receipts, mailings, and social media channels.
