Rep. Latta Hosts Home Energy Roundtable in Toledo

Propane Caucus Co-Chair Representative Bob Latta (R-OH) hosted a roundtable event in Toledo, OH, on November 22 for the propane and natural gas industries to discuss ongoing challenges in the home heating sector. The propane industry brought eight representatives from trade associations and Ohio-based companies to brief the Congressman on the various supply chain, labor, supply and demand, and transportation issues impacting customers and businesses across the country. Congressman Latta reiterated his support for the propane industry and offered his assistance in addressing the industry’s concerns.

Following the off-the-record conversation, the press was invited into the room to provide coverage of the event, including the Sentinel-Tribune, which published an article on the discussion.

NPGA has been in close communication with Congressman Latta and other key offices on Capitol Hill to keep legislators updated on the current propane supply landscape leading into heating season. The Association has held more than 80 meetings in recent weeks with offices to address constituent concerns and provide talking points on the situation.
