Dear NPGA family,
Late Wednesday afternoon, NPGA learned of the untimely and tragic passing of a longtime Congressional Propane Caucus Member, Representative Jackie Walorski (R-IN-02), as well as two of her staff members. Congresswoman Walorski was elected to Congress in 2012 and became a leader on the prestigious House Ways and Means Committee, serving as the Ranking Member of the Worker and Family Support Subcommittee. Since 2016, the Congresswoman has been a member of the Congressional Propane Caucus and participated in numerous Propane Days. The propane industry will miss her pragmatic approach to legislating and her ability to work across the aisle. Our thoughts and prayers are with Congresswoman Walorski and her two staff members’ families.
