The EIA reported total U.S. propane/propylene inventories had a withdrawal of 3.4 MMbbl for the week ending March 7, which was more than industry expectations of 1.6 MMbbl and the average draw for the week of 1.2 MMbbl. Storage levels were 13% below the same period last year.
Purity propane stocks reported by the EIA were at 21.6 MMbbl, or 48% of total U.S. inventories, down 2.8 MMbbl from the prior reporting period.
