The EIA reported total U.S. propane/propylene inventories had a withdrawal of 4.8 MMbbl for the week ending January 31, which was more than industry expectations for a decrease of 3.5 MMbbl and above the average draw for the week of 3.2 MMbbl. Storage levels were 1.4% above the same period last year. Purity propane stocks reported by the EIA were at 33.9 MMbbl, or 55% of total U.S. inventories, down 4.9 MMbbl from the prior reporting period.
