The BNI Foundation’s Heaters & Hope initiative provides portable propane heaters to Ukrainian families that have been impacted by power outages. To date, more than 400 heaters have been donated. In addition to the heaters, the BNI Foundation is now expanding to provide propane generators. The generator donation is being facilitated by the efforts of NPGA’s Tom Ortiz, Director of Codes & Standards. Propane is readily available in the Ukraine and the community distribution of the propane generators will make a big impact during the harsh winter.
