Propane Education & Research Council (PERC) is offering multiple opportunities to connect at the 2025 NPGA Southeastern Convention & International Propane Expo™. Attendees should be sure to join the PERC safety team on Friday, April 4, from 10:30-11:30 a.m. for a session titled “Building a Safety Culture in the Propane Industry.” The team will discuss the importance of a safety-first culture and offer tips for instilling that culture in a company and workforce.
Later on Friday, Tucker Perkins, President and CEO of PERC will deliver the annual PERC Update during the Expo Opening Session starting at 2:15 p.m. In his update, Perkins will highlight how frequent destructive weather events and the staggering increase in power demands on our electric grid are changing the energy landscape. The historic 2024 hurricane season reinforced the understanding that no place is safe from climate change. Perkins will call upon the industry to channel the same energy that fuels heroic disaster relief efforts into seizing emerging growth opportunities and fostering a culture of safety in every aspect of its operations.
Finally, while you’re exploring the Expo Exhibit Hall, stop by to say hello to PERC staff at Booth 844.
