Bottom line: ensure your organization is protected against cybercrime and malicious actors online.
In the wake of the ongoing situation in Ukraine, the Biden administration has urged the private sector, including owners and operators of critical infrastructure, to be vigilant against cyberattacks, such as malware. While there is no specific threat against the propane industry, companies should review and, if necessary, update internal protocols to protect against cyberattacks. NPGA participates in biweekly meetings with oil and gas industry representatives and government officials for briefings on potential cyber threats related to the energy sector.
