Bottom Line: Meet NPGA’s New Director of Regulatory Affairs and Associate General Counsel.
Kate Gaziano joined NPGA as Director of Regulatory Affairs and Associate General Counsel. Prior to joining NPGA, Kate was a regulatory attorney with Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld, one of DC’s most sophisticated global law firms. Prior to joining Akin Gump, she served as a law clerk to Judge Edith Jones—appointed by President Reagan—on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit in Houston, TX. She has also worked in the Office of Chief Counsel at the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and the Bill of Rights Institute. Kate is a graduate, summa cum laude, of the Antonin Scalia Law School at George Mason University and the University of Virginia. Kate will represent the propane industry on a broad portfolio of federal regulatory matters. She is based in DC and began with NPGA on October 17, 2022.
