Koppy’s Propane hosted Congressman Scott Perry (PA-10) on August 15th at their rail terminal in Tremont, PA. Owner David Koppenhaver along with President Kara Tucker, Vice President Kristen Snyder, and General Manager Randy Whitmer gave the Congressman an overview and history of Koppy’s Propane and led a discussion of the day-to-day operations. The Rail Terminal Manager Tyler Baker also gave the Congressman a tour and provided insights into how the rail terminal operates.
Koppy’s Propane spoke about the creation of the rail terminal and how it has been a great addition to their business operations. In addition, Koppy’s Propane discussed energy choice, and even though the Congressman is on the side of the propane industry, this visit provided him with an opportunity to understand better how proposed regulations would affect their business.
