Eco-Friendly Vending Machines
Propane is in and hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) are out. In vending machines across the country, HFCs are being replaced by more environmentally friendly coolants. The most viable commercial refrigerant is propane based, HC R-290. HC R-290’s positive environmental profile and superior performance make it the best choice for environmentally friendly snack machines. Vending machines using propane as a refrigerant will be coming to break rooms across the U.S. soon; there is no restriction on placement of vending machines using environmentally friendly refrigerants.
