NPGA posts applicable Hours of Service Waivers, Emergency Waivers, and State of Emergency Declarations on our website here. Current posted declarations and waivers for the following states related to the transportation of supplies and or fuel:
- Florida
- Georgia
- Kentucky
- North Carolina
- South Carolina
- Tennessee
The North Carolina Department of Agriculture has provided enforcement discretion—through October 11—for the delivery of LP-gas to other companies’ customers’ containers due to Hurricane Helene’s extensive flooding, power outages, and damage to infrastructure. The enforcement discretion is not intended to permit the assumption of service for customers, without notice, to the alternate LP-gas company. This is only applicable to select counties in North Carolina. Please see the document for specific details. NPGA encourages communication and cooperation between all parties for the mutual benefit of customers’ well-being. For more information, please call the Southeast Propane Alliance at 919-787-8485.
NPGA remains in communication with the state associations affected by Hurricane Helene, and the U.S. Department of Energy. If there is a need to extend a waiver, please reach out to your state association as well as NPGA. Please contact NPGA’s Senior Manager of State Association Relations, Eric Sears, with questions or concerns.
