The Maritime Administration has opened the Fiscal Year 2025 Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) for the Port Infrastructure Development Program (PIDP). The PIDP will provide $450,000,000 this fiscal year to ports in urban and rural area for planning and capital projects. Eligible projects will improve the safety, efficiency, or reliability of loading/unloading, movement of goods into, out of, around, or within a port, operational improvements, environmental or emissions mitigation, or infrastructure that supports seafood production. Eligible applicants include states, local government, public agencies, special purpose districts, Indian Tribes, multistate or multijurisdictional entities, or public-private applications including a public entity as described above.
