The Governor of Kentucky and the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet have issued an Emergency Declaration and Hours of Service Waiver due to the significant impact of flooding in Southeast Kentucky. The Emergency Declaration and Waiver waives hours of service requirements for the transportation of goods and services limited to rescue, recovery and restoration efforts. The waiver applies only to the transportation of supplies that provide direct assistance to the emergency conditions.
