On August 24th, Comfurt Gas hosted Rep. Brittany Pettersen (D-CO-7) at its Buena Vista location in Colorado. Comfurt Gas provided the Congresswoman a tour of their facility, discussed bulk plant operations, and showcased their bobtails and transport trucks. In addition, Comfurt Gas also spoke with the Congresswoman about the importance of consumer choice and other opportunities to provide more certainty and improve the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP). As a newly elected member of Congress, this visit provided an additional opportunity to educate the Congresswoman on our industry, allowing her to understand the value propane marketers offer to the community.
If your company would like to host your state or federal legislators at your propane facility, please contact NPGA’s Eric Sears. For more information, please visit NPGA’s Propane Days 365 website.
