The U.S. Department of Labor’s National Apprenticeship Week (NAW) is November 13-19, 2023. NAW is a nationwide celebration where industry, labor, equity, workforce, education, and government leaders host events to showcase the successes and value of registered apprenticeship programs. Click here for a list of NAW events in your region.
Given the current tight labor market, apprenticeship programs can be a great tool to attract and retain the next generation of propane industry workers and, importantly, create a needed talent pipeline.
In celebration of National Apprenticeship Week, NPGA will host an apprenticeship webinar on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. EST. This presentation will help your company understand the value of NPGA’s Apprentice Program, and how you can get involved. You can register for the webinar here.
NPGA offers four types of apprenticeships to connect motivated workers with propane employers. Each program has been approved by and registered with the U.S. Department of Labor. For more information, please visit www.npga.org/apprenticeship-program or e-mail [email protected].
