On December 20, 2023, Agriland Farm Supply (FS) hosted Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks (IA-1) at their Fairfield, IA, facility. The Congresswoman is a member of the House Committee on Energy and Commerce, which is responsible for U.S. energy policy. During the visit, the Congresswoman learned about the propane industry and the many ways the fuel helps Iowans in her district meet their agricultural, heating, and energy needs. Kent Schrof and Joe Wegman of Agriland FS discussed the propane supply chain, industry safety, the Farm Bill, and infrastructure investments with Representative Miller-Meeks.
Hosting a facility visit is a valuable opportunity to educate your elected officials about your company’s impact on the community – and NPGA is here to help. If your company is interested in hosting a site visit, please contact NPGA’s Manager of State Association Relations, Eric Sears.
