ACE Services can now process drivers in certain states under the age of 21 seeking to obtain a HAZMAT endorsement under the Entry Level Driver Training (ELDT) requirements. While federal law limits HAZMAT endorsement to 21+ years, several states allow for under 21 HAZMAT endorsement if the driver is not crossing state lines (intrastate driving). NPGA worked for several months to gain clarification on ACE capabilities in these states from Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA). NPGA confirms that ACE is able to process under 21 HME drivers in these states:
- Kansas
- Illinois
- Massachusetts
- Minnesota
This is good news for companies in these states! ACE Services can help you get more drivers on the road, quickly, easily, and safely.
