On Thursday, November 20, 2025, the Federal Transit Administration released 2025 funding awards for transit buses and bus infrastructure. Awardees in Michigan and Minnesota received over $24 million in grants to replace aging buses with new propane vehicles and install supporting fueling infrastructure. The diverse recipients, ranging from major cities to rural communities, demonstrate that propane buses are an effective, reliable and versatile transit solution in all types of communities throughout the nation.
