This week the Young Professionals Council (YPC) joined Operation BBQ Relief to serve meals to first responders to celebrate National Propane Day. Operation BBQ Relief has served over 11 million meals – a majority of which have been prepared using propane – to veterans, first responders, and those in need following natural disasters. YPC volunteers joined Operation BBQ to serve hot meals to 1,000 first responders across three states:
- St. Paul, MN – 200 first responders served
- Kansas City, MO – 300 first responders served
- Tampa, FL – 500 first responders served
Through the generosity of the event sponsors and donors, the YPC was able to donate $10,000 to Operation BBQ relief! These funds will help Operation BBQ Relief continue its great work.
