Iowa Governor Kimberly Reynolds executed an executive order to waive hours of service requirements in response to additional traffic in the state to obtain propane for agricultural demand. To clarify, data demonstrates that there is significant supply of propane throughout the Midwest region. According to the U.S. Energy Information Administration as of October 18th, there is over 2 million barrels/day of domestic propane production. The Governor’s waiver is in effect at 12:01 am November 1 to 11:59 pm November 30, 2019.
