Certified Employee Training Program (CETP)
NPGA works to ensure that the CETP curriculum and the CETP Certification Program mesh seamlessly to maintain the highest degree of employee training available anywhere in the propane industry.

Codes and Standards Development
Working through the Technology, Standards, and Safety Committee, we proactively work in the codes development process at the state, regional, and national levels to ensure safety.

NPGA partnered with Cintas to provide members with special pricing on select uniforms and items. Cintas offers highly specialized services to businesses of all types throughout North America. The company designs, manufactures, and implements corporate identity uniform programs, provides entrance mats, restroom supplies, promotional products, and first-aid and safety products.

This program provides discounts for purchased or leased Ford and Lincoln-Mercury 2012/2013 Model Cars, Trucks and SUVs. Association Members must have an active Commercial Fleet Identification Number (FIN) to participate.

Goodyear/Dunlop Tires through Truckers B2B
Truckers B2B will administer the Goodyear/Dunlop discount tire program which includes new and retreads. Truckers B2B is a business-to-business membership program that provides savings to thousands of small and medium-sized trucking companies.

HR University
Members have access to HR University, a training and support system designed to provide members with easy-to-understand solutions to employment issues within their companies. HR University provides guidelines for several human resources forms including timesheets, employment applications, requests for leave, sexual harassment, and much more. HR University is normally distributed nationwide to companies for $500 per year, but NPGA members have access to this useful and important tool at no charge. Members can also email an HR expert with HR questions. 

LABORCHEX 
As a member, you receive special discounted prices through LABORCHEX to provide valuable Employment Background Screening Services. Since 1985, LABORCHEX has been helping businesses in all 50 states by offering a cost-effective method to help them hire better, safer workforces. NPGA Members may use LABORCHEX to: Check criminal and driving records; Verify employment including D.O.T. 382.413 and 391.23 screenings for commercial drivers; Confirm education and other professional credentials; and Obtain credit reports, and more! Background checks will lower turnover costs, reduce negligent hiring issues, maintain production worksites, and enhance safety and security. 

NPGA Member Logo
Members can use the NPGA logo for their website, advertisements, and other marketing materials.  Customers like to feel confident about a company’s professional character and being part of NPGA enhances that belief. 

Membership List Rental 
Only members can purchase NPGA lists to advertise their services.  The list is available in an electronic format and can be customized for specific states, regions, or trade based on NPGA’s member type structure.  The cost is $0.25 per record and includes contact name, address, telephone, email and fax where available.  For more information contact Darlene Hawk at 202-355-1331.

Propane Marketplace
NPGA helps its members and other industry professionals cut through the clutter of traditional search engine results with the NPGA Propane Marketplace. The Marketplace enables professionals to perform targeted searches for industry-related products and services using either a user-defined keyword search or an alphabetized directory search by product categories. The Marketplace features only products and services aimed towards helping industry professionals find the most cost-effective and convenient business tools.
