Southeastern: A Success! - NPGA’s traditional present of providing to its members a quality exhibition and showcase occurred once again at the Southeastern Convention in Atlanta, Georgia, held March 29 to April 1, 2003.   Generously hosted by the North Carolina Propane Gas Association, the 53rd annual event drew thousands of attendees to walk amongst the over 350 booths and exhibits lining the convention floor’s aisles. Terror Alert Raised to Orange, NPGA Releases Security White Paper for Propane Industry - On February 7, the U.S. Dept. of Homeland Security (DHS) raised the national alert indicator up to orange, or high. Appropriately, the NPGA has simultaneously released its recommendations to improve the security of the propane industry. (Feb. 10, 2003)

2003 'Train the Trainer' Propane Emergencies Classes Announced - The class is free to certified fire trainers and propane industry trainers but seats are limited. Four training classes are now being offered-if you are interested in attending. (Feb. 9, 2003)
