The introductory webinar on July 25 is open to all NPGA members while the professional development webinar on August 22 is open to Women in Propane Council Members only. Introduction to Social Media

If you are not yet using social media or you are a beginner interested in enhancing your online professional profile, this webinar is for you! This introductory course in social media has been designed to give you the skills to start using the three most common social media platforms. During this one-hour webinar, learn how to create a profile on Facebook, connect with business colleagues on LinkedIn and construct an interest list on Twitter. Propane Resources' social media expert Bonnie Walker, will provide an overview on the basic principles and best practices of social media. This webinar is for individuals who would like to educate themselves on the latest available internet technologies and also for the novice social media users who are interested in learning more advanced features and insider tips. This webinar is open to all NPGA members.

Social Media for Professional Development

Social media is an essential tool in networking with professional colleagues, making new contacts, recruiting employees, and keeping in touch with industry news. This one-hour webinar will discuss how to set-up your social media accounts to enhance your professional image while maintaining a boundary between your business and personal online activities. The presentation will also discuss how to develop social media accounts for your business that will compliment your company's website and expand your current marketing efforts.
