Propane Days

Propane Days 2011 was a huge success with more than 300 industry leaders traveling to Washington, DC to inform their Congressional representatives of issues affecting our industry. Attendees began arriving on June 13, to attend the NPGA Annual Meeting and Mid-Year Board of Directors Meeting. The program included updates from the NPGA Legislative team, Senator Roy Blunt (R-MO), and keynote speaker Frank Luntz. Participants were educated regarding legislation that affects our industry and how we can be actively involved in its development. On June 14, members were able to network with each other and their Congressional representatives at the Congressional Reception held at the Rayburn Cafeteria. Propane Days concluded with the Pipeline Forum  held on June 15. FERC Commissioner Marc Spitzer spoke and provided industry representatives an opportunity to interact with the federal regulators with authority over the propane pipeline infrastructure.
